NSK Ltd. Established in 1916, is a world -renowned company in bearings, precision machinery and automotive components. They operate over 65 plants in 30 countries. Its entry into India in the year 1997 began with steering components through a JV and they eventually expanded to include all types of bearings under their hood currently operating in the name of NSK Bearings India Pvt. Ltd. In 2006, they set up a manufacturing facility in Chennai with a capacity to produce more than 40 million bearings a year.
